  I’m writing to thank you for your incredible service to my daughter and the countless other students you’re responsible for developing. As a former home schoolteacher and a Mother, I know the difficult task of motivating a student to put forth their best effort in their academic studies.
  I often feel as a Mother (who is consumed with thoughts of education) "How can I light a fire under this child?" "How can I make learning interesting and not a dreadful experience?"   My name is Mike Barz and I am a junior at St. Francis High School. On my first trip to Helen’s private tutoring lessons, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to be there, however, I soon found out that she would change my life.
  On my first visit with Helen, I was reading about 230 words a minute, however, after only one 2-hour session with her, I increased my reading speed to reading around 2,280 words per minute.
